When we set out to hire a new director of content and creative last year, we knew it would be akin to finding the proverbial needle in a haystack.
Our ask was big. And – as we would come to learn – it would not easily be answered.
We wanted someone with great creative chops, both on the brand and issue side. While our work is firmly centered on the latter, we believe in the value of applying lessons from other industries and disciplines.

Finally, after eight months of looking, we found our needle in the haystack.
Juan Cabrera brings to SE2 great creative and strategic vision, built through a career spent in small and large agencies in Denver, New York, Los Angeles and Guanajuato, Mexico.
A native of Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico who was raised in L.A., Juan has the ability to seamlessly merge and move between cultures and languages.
He has worked on and led teams from coast to coast, producing advertising, content and CSR work for some of America’s top brands, focusing both on multicultural initiatives and general market projects.
In the two short weeks he’s been on board, Juan has already taught us new and exciting things. And we can’t wait to share them with our clients and friends.
